The Jensen Interceptor is a grand tourer built in England (West Bromwich) between 1966 and 1976 as a replacement for the CV8. It was sold as a 2-door, 4-seater hatchback, convertible and coupe and had rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. The name Interceptor had previously been applied by the company to a model produced between 1950 and 1957. The company had used glass-reinforced plastic for the body panels in the previous two decades, but returned to a steel body for this model. In total, just under 6,500 examples were produced.

The car was available with a 6.3-litre engine (1966-1971) and a 7.2-litre V8 engine (1971-1976). The engines ranged in power from 250 hp (186 kW) to 335 hp (250 kW) and were mated to a 4-speed manual or 3-speed aic transmission.
