The Fiat Dino is a sports car produced in Italy (Turin and later Maranello) between 1966 and 1973. It was introduced to the public at the Turin Motor Show. It was sold as a 2-door coupe andspider withrear-wheel drive andengine located in the front. The car’s name refers to the Ferrari Dino V6 engine, produced by Fiat to achieve production numbers sufficient for Ferrari to homologate the engine for Formula 2 racing.

Until 1969, the Dino was powered by a 2-litre V6 engine with 158 hp (118 kW). Later, it was powered by a 2.4-litre version of this engine with 178 hp (132 kW). The engines were mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
