The MG MGA is a sports car produced in England (Abingdon) and Australia (Enfield) between 1955 and 1962 as a replacement for the TF 1500 Midget. It was sold as a 2-door coupe and roadster with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It represented a complete styling break from the company’s previous cars. It was first introduced to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In total, just over 100,000 examples were produced, the vast majority of which were exported.
