The Porsche 914 or VW-Porsche 914 is a sports car produced in West Germany (Stuttgart, Osnabrück) between 1969 and 1976 as a replacement for the 912. It was sold as a 2-door targa with rear-wheel drive and a rear-middle-mounted engine. In total, just under 120,000 examples were produced.

The car was available with several air-cooled engines, namely a 1.7-litre, a 1.8-litre and a 2-litre flat-4 and a 2-litre flat-6. Engine power ranged from 79 hp (59 kW) to 109 hp (81 kW). The engines were mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 4-speed semi-aic transmission was also available for the 6-cylinder version.
