The Aston Martin DP214 is a prototype sports car developed for use in grand touring racing, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Two examples of the DP214 were produced in 1963, one of which still survives today. Like its predecessor, the DP212, it was based on the DB4GT chassis to meet GT regulations. The bodywork was completely redesigned, such as the Kamm rear end.

The car was powered by a production 3.7-litre I6 engine with power output that hovered around 310 hp (231 kW), depending on the modification for the event. This engine, combined with a 4-speed manual transmission, allowed the car to reach speeds of up to 299 km/h (299 mph).
