The Alpine A110 is a sports car produced in France between 1963 and 1977 as a replacement for the A108. It was sold as a 2-door Berlinetta with rear-wheel drive and a rear-mounted engine.
The car was sold with several Renault and Lotus I4 engines, ranging from one-litre to 1.65-litre depending on the year of production. These were mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It originally had a power output of only 51 hp (38 kW), but gradually increased to 180 hp (134 kW). This increase in power contributed to the car’s success in the rally stages of Europe.
