The Aston Martin DB6 is a grand tourer produced from 1965 to 1970 as a replacement for the DB5 with improved aerodynamics and specification. It was sold as a 2 door 2+2 coupe with rear-wheel drive and the engine mounted at the front. It was introduced to the public at the London Motor Show in 1965 with now outdated design. It is quite similar to its predecessor with the most noticeable differences being the side profile, split front and rear bumpers. In total just over 1700 examples were produced.
The car was powered by a 4-liter I6 engine with 282 horsepower (210 kW) in the base and 325 horsepower (242 kW) in the Vantage version. The engines were mated to a 5-speed manual or 3-speed aic transmission. This allowed it to reach a speed of 241 km/h (241 mph).
