The Aston Martin DB5 is a British grand tourer produced from 1963 to 1965 as the successor to the DB4 series. It was designed by Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. It was sold as a 2-door 2+2 coupe, convertible and shooting brake with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. A total of 1059 examples were produced.

The car was powered by a 4-litre I6 engine with 282 hp (210 kW), mated to a 5-speed manual or 3-speed aic transmission. This allowed it to reach a speed of 233 km/h (233 mph). At base, it was equipped with reclining seats, power windows, leather upholstery, and an oil cooler.
