The Aston Martin DBS is a grand tourer produced by Aston Martin Ltd from 1967 to 1972 as the successor to the DB6. It was sold as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and engine located in the front. The car was powered by a 4-liter I6 engine and 280 horsepower (209 kW) in the base and 325 horsepower (242 kW) in the Vantage version. The engines were mated to a 5-speed manual or 3-speed aic transmission. A total of 787 examples were produced. The name DBS was again used for the car produced in between 2007 and 2012.

The Aston Martin DBS V8 was made available to the public in 1969. It was powered by a 5.4-litre V8 engine, which earned it the title of the fastest 4 seater car of its time. The car was equipped with light alloy wheels and ventilated brake discs. Its production continued until May 1972, when it was renamed the Aston Martin V8.
