The Fiat 132 is a large family car produced in Italy (Turin) and several other countries between 1972 and 1981. It was sold as a 4-door sedan with rear-wheel drive and the engine located in the front. It was introduced to the public as a replacement for the 125 but resembled the 130 more closely. Like its predecessor, it came with a 5-speed manual transmission, but a 3-speed automatic transmission was also available.
The car was available with several I4 petrol and diesel engines ranging from 1.6-litre to 2.5-litre. Their power output ranged from 59 hp (44 kW) to 120 hp (90 kW). In total, more than 600,000 examples were produced.
