The Ferrari 166 Inter is Ferrari’s first true grand tourer, produced between 1948 and 1950. It was sold as a coupe and barchetta with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine as a successor to the 125 S and 166 S.
The car was first presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show as an elegant coupe. It was powered by a 90 hp (66 kW) 2-litre V12 engine, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This allowed it to reach speeds of 150 km/h (150 mph). Only 38 examples were produced in total.
