The Ferrari Mondial (Type F108) is a grand tourer produced in Italy (Modena) between 1980 and 1993 as the successor to the GT4. It was sold in 2+2 versions as a coupe andconvertible witha slightly higher roofline to allow children or shorter adults to sit in the back. It is the last Ferrari 2+2 with aV8 engine in the rearcentre. The name “Mondial” reflects the worldwide compliance with 1980 safety and emissions standards.

The Mondial Quattrovalvole was launched in 1982 with rear-wheel drive and a rear-middle-mounted engine. It was produced until 1985. The car was powered by a 2.9-litre four-valve-per-cylinder-head V8 engine with240 hp (177 kW). In total, just over a thousand examples of the coupe version were produced.
