The Buick Super is an automobile produced by Buick from 1940 to 1958 in four generations with production breaks, as a replacement for the Standard Six. It favoured passenger comfort over engine power. For several years it was called the “Buick Eight” or “Super Eight” because of the engraving on the grille.
