The Bentley T-series is a luxury car produced in England (Crewe) between 1965 and 1980 as a replacement for the S3. It was sold as a 2-door convertible and a 2/4-door saloon with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It was first introduced to the public at the Paris Motor Show in October 1965. The car was powered by a 6.2-litre and, after 1971, a 6.8-litre V8 engine. These were mated to a 3/4-speed manual transmission. In total, just over 2,300 examples were produced.
The Bentley T2 was an improved version of the T1 and was sold from 1977. It had rack and pinion steering, improved air conditioning, rubberised bumpers and a new bonnet. A total of 568 examples of this version were produced.
