The SS 1 is a sports car produced in England (Coventry) between 1931 and 1936. It was first introduced to the public at the London Motor Show in 1931. It was sold in slightly modified form as a 2-door, 4-seater coupe, tourer and saloon with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine.

The car was initially powered by a standard 2-litre engine with 48 hp or a 2.5-litre engine with 62 hp (46 kW). In 1934, the engine capacity was increased to 2.1 and 2.6 litres or 2.6 litres, with power also increased to 53 hp (40 kW) and 68 hp (51 kW). In total, around 4,200 examples were produced.
