The Rover 16 P2 is a mid-size family car produced by the British Motor Company between 1937-1940 and 1945-1948 as a successor to the Meteor 16. It was sold as a 4-door saloon, a sports saloon and a 2-door coupé with a retractable roof, rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine.

The car’s slightly aerodynamic shape was reminiscent of the existing Rover 10 and 12 models. It was powered by a 2.1-litre I6 engine, which allowed it to reach a speed of 124 km/h. It was equipped with an idle speed system, automatic chassis lubrication and mechanical rod-operated brakes. It was replaced by the Rover P3.
