The Maserati Karif is a sports car produced in Italy (Modena) between 1988 and 1991. It was sold as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and engine located in the front. It was designed to be luxurious but also sporty and agile. It is named after a wind called Karif, which blows in a southwesterly direction across the Gulf of Aden near Berbera, Somalia.

The car was powered by a 280 hp (210 kW) 2.8-litre V6 engine, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This allowed it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds and reach a speed of 255 km/h (255 mph). Only 221 examples were produced in total.
