The Delahaye 235 is a luxury car produced by the French manufacturer between 1951 and 1954. It was driven by a rear axle and had its engine located in the front. It was introduced to the public at the 1951 Paris Motor Show as an attempt to modernize the pre-war Type 135. It was originally sold only in chassis form and bodies were supplied by manufacturers such as Chapron, Antem and Figoni.
Due to poor sales, a standardized body was available from 1953 onwards, manufactured by Chapron. The car was powered by a 152 hp (113 kW) 3.6-litre I6 engine mated to a 4-speed pre-selector. This allowed it to reach a speed of 170 km/h (170 mph). In total, less than 90 examples were produced.
