The Lancia Aurelia is a car produced by the Italian company between 1950 and 1958 in six series. It was sold as a 4-door saloon, 2-door coupe, spider and convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It was named after the Roman road Via Aurelia, which led from Rome to Pisa. It is famous for using one of the first mass-produced V6 engines and was the first car to use radial tyres as standard equipment. In total, more than 18,000 examples were produced.
The Aurelia B24 Spider was only produced between 1954 and 1955 and only 240 examples were sold in total. It was equipped with a panoramic windscreen, two-piece chrome bumpers and removable side windows. It was powered by a 2.5-litre V6 engine with 118 hp (87 kW) mated to a 4-speed manual transmission.
