The Maserati Khamsin (Tipo AM120) is a grand tourer produced in Italy (Modena) between 1974 and 1982. It was sold as a 2-door 2+2 coupe with rear-wheel drive and a front-middle-mounted engine, along with the Kyalami. According to company tradition, it was named after the wind: the Khamsin – a hot, violent wind blowing in the Egyptian desert fifty days a year.

The car was unveiled at the 1972 Turin Motor Show as a concept. In March 1973, a production model was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. It was powered by a 4.9-litre V8 engine with 320 hp (240 kW), mated to a 5-speed manual or 3-speed aic transmission. This allowed it to reach speeds of up to 270 km/h (270 mph). Only 435 examples were produced in total.
