Aston Martin DB2 grand tourer produced in England between 1950 and 1953. It was sold as a 2-seater coupe and convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It was introduced to the public in April 1950 at the New York Auto Show. In total, just over 400 examples of the DB2 were produced.
The car was powered by a 2.6-liter I6 engine and produced 105 horsepower (78 kW) in the base version and 125 horsepower (93 kW) in the Vantage version. This allowed it to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h (62 mph) in 11.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 187 km/h (187 mph). It was replaced by the DB2/4.
