The BMW 327 is a mid-sized grand tourer produced in Germany between 1937 and 1941 and again between 1945 and 1952. It was sold as a 2-door convertible and coupe (from 1938) with rear-wheel drive and the engine located in the front. The car was shorter and lower than the 326, but shared an aerodynamic shape representing the more progressive design of the 30. years.

The car was powered by a 2-litre I6 engine, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox, allowing it to reach speeds of 125 km/h. A more powerful version called the 327/28 was also available, which was equipped with the engine from the 328.
