The Alfa Romeo 6C name was used on road, race and sports cars produced from 1927-1954. The name 6C indicates the number of cylinders in the engine. It was unveiled in April 1925 at the Milan Motor Show. It was rear-wheel drive and the engine was located in the front.
The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 was produced between 1938 and 1982. It was powered by a 2.5-litre I6 engine and had a 4-speed manual gearbox. It was one of the most expensive cars available at the time. The super sport version had 110 hp (67 kW) and could reach a speed of 155 km/h (155 mph).
