The Triumph TR4A is a sports car produced in the United Kingdom in 1965-1967 as the successor to the TR4. It was sold as a 2-door roadster with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. Compared to its predecessor, it had a revised chassis to suit the new wheel suspension and independent rear suspension, which improved the car’s ride comfort.
The car was powered by a water-cooled, 2.1-litre I4 engine with 104 hp (78 kW), mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. This allowed it to reach speeds of up to 175 km/h (175 mph). Wire wheels, a heater and seat belts were available at an extra cost.
