The MG MGC was a 2-door sports car produced by from 1967 to 1969. It was a 6-cylinder version of the MGB. It was sold as a roadster and coupe. It was intended as a replacement for the Austin-Healey 3000 Mk. III, but in this form it never made it past the design proposal stage.
The bodywork was modified from the previous model around the engine bay and floor, but externally the only significant difference was the bulging of the bonnet, due to the location of the relocated radiator. The car was powered by a 3-litre I6 engine with 145 hp (108 kW), which was mated to a 3-speed aic transmission. It could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 10 s and to 193 km/h.
