The Aston Martin DB 4 is a grand tourer produced in England in 1958-1963. It was sold as a 2-seater coupe, a 2+2 coupe and a 2+2 convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. The car had a lightweight body designed by Carrozeria Touring in Milan, and its appearance caused a sensation when it was unveiled at the London Motor Show in 1958. The design of the DB4 formed the basis for later models such as the Lagonda Rapide.
The DB 4 was powered by a 3.7-litre engine with 240 hp (179 kW), designed by Polish engineer and racer Tadek Marek. The top speed of the car was 224 km/h (224 mph). A total of 1,204 examples were produced.
