The Lancia Flavia was produced in Italy from 1961 to 1971 and continued production as the Lancia 2000 from 1971 to 1975. The car was sold as a 2-door coupe and convertible or as a 4-door sedan with front-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. In total, more than 100,000 examples were produced.
The car was unveiled in 1960 at the Turin Motor Show. It was initially powered by a 1.5-litre, flat-four-cylinder engine, the displacement of which was gradually increased. First to a 1.8-litre version and then to a 2-litre version. The 2-litre version had a possible output of up to 124 hp (93 kW).
