The Glas GT is a sports car produced by Hans Glas GmbH in Germany from 1964 to 1968. It was sold as a coupe and convertible with rear-wheel drive and the engine located in the front. The first version of this car (1300 GT) was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. In 1965 a version with larger engine (1700 GT) was introduced. The engines were mated to a 4-speed or 5-speed manual transmission. In total, just over 6,600 examples were produced.

The BMW 1600 GT was produced in between 1967 and 1968. It was powered by a 1.6-litre engine with 105 hp (77 kW). Compared to previous models, handling has been improved thanks to a more sophisticated rear axle. New round tail lights were also fitted and added the typical BMW grille.
