The Dodge Dart is a line of large passenger cars produced from 1959 to 1976 in four generations. The production Dodge Dart was introduced as a less expensive full-size model in 1960 and 1961, downsized to a mid-size car in 1962, and reduced to a compact model from 1963 to 1976. The cars had rear-wheel drive and engine located in the front.

The Dodge Dart (3rd Gen) was produced in from 1963 to 1966. It was sold as a 2-/4-door sedan, 4-door station wagon, 2-door hardtop or 2-door convertible. The car was powered by a 2.8-/3.7-liter I6 or a 4.5-liter V8 engine, which were mated to a 3-speed/4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission.
