The Iso Grifo is a limited edition grand tourer produced by Iso Autoveicoli S.p.A in between 1965 and 1974. It was intended to compete with the Ferrari and Maserati offerings, using components supplied by Ford or Chevrolet. It was sold as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and engine located in the front.
The first mass-produced models appeared in 1965 and were powered by a 5.4-litre V8 engine with 300 hp (220 kW), which was mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. In 1970, a second series with hidden headlights was introduced, powered by a 7.4-litre V8 engine. A 5.8- and 7-litre version was also available.
