The Lotus Europa was a 2-door coupe produced from 1966-1975 in Lotus Types 46, 47, 54, 65 and 74 In total, 9,230 examples were produced in all variants. The cars were available with three different mid-mounted engines that were mated to a 4-speed or 5-speed manual transmission. The body was made of fiberglass.
The 1972 Lotus Europa type 74 was powered by a 1.6-litre DOHC I4 engine with 105 hp (78.5 kW). It had rear-wheel drive, a top speed of 188 km/h, fuel consumption of 11 l/100km and could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds.
