The MG Midget is a small two-seater lightweight sports car produced by MG in from 1961 to 1976. It had a rear drive and engine located in the front. The car was produced in 4 generations. The model revived the name used on earlier models such as the M-Type, D-Type, J-Type and M-Type.
The MG Midget Mk II was produced between 1964 and 1966. It had changed lights compared to the previous model, the doors, which added pull-down windows, and the windshield gained a slight curve. The car was powered by a 1.1-litre I4 engine with 59 hp (44 kW). A total of 26 601 examples were produced.
