The Daimler 2.5 V8/V8-250 is a 4-door limousine manufactured by The Daimler Company Limited in the United Kingdom in 1962-1969. It was Daimler’s first car based on the Jaguar platform, the first with a unit body and the last with a Daimler engine after the company was bought out by Jaguar in 1960.

The Daimler 2.5 V8 was essentially a rebadged Jaguar Mark 2 fitted with a Daimler powertrain. Most cars were equipped with power steering, but it was optional. Automatic transmission was standard. Manual, became an option in 1967. The car was powered by a 2.5-litre V8 engine that was mated to a 3-speed automatic or manual transmission. It was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 14 seconds and to a speed of 180 km/h.
