The Triumph TR4 was a 2-door sports car (roadster) produced from 1961-1965. Its chassis and drivetrain were based on previous TR models. Despite its modern appearance, only 40253 units were produced. It was replaced by the TR4A model. It was powered by the same I4 engine as its TR2/3 predecessors, but with an increased displacement to 2.2-litres. The standard engine had a power output of 105 hp (78 kW), but some upgraded versions could reach up to 200 hp (150 kW). The Triumph TR4 had a 4-speed manual gearbox, could reach speeds of 180 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 11 seconds. Its average consumption was 12.6 l/100km.
