This luxury 4-door car was produced from 1949-1955 and was the first Rolls-Royce offered with a factory-built body, which, along with the chassis, it shared with the Bentley Mark VI and Bentley R type until production ceased. Only 760 of them were produced in total. The A-D series had bodywork identical to the Mark VI, but in 1953 the E series modified the bodywork and added a large trunk. The 1954 model was powered by a 4.6-liter I6 engine, had a 4-speed manual or aic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The top speed was 151 km/h and it could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 15.2 seconds with a fuel consumption of 18.3 l/100km.
