It is a two-door luxury roadster produced in Stuttgart between 1955 and 1963. The bodywork is very similar to that of the 300 SL, with which it shared, for example, independent suspension. The 190 SL was powered by Mercedes-Benz’s new 1.9-litre flat four-cylinder engine, designated the M121 BII. Power of 77kW(104hp) was transmitted through a 4-speed manual transmission. The exterior of this model is dressed in rich red which adds to the elegance. This red colour is also found in the interior on the dashboard and connects the exterior with the interior in a very pleasant way. Another very elegant and interesting addition to the interior is the white steering wheel along with the white steering wheel head.
