One mid-size muscle car introduced in 1967. A few minor changes were made to this 1969 model: it had standard black paint on the tail and side marker lights, on the radiator grille, and it had standard black paint on the lower body instead of the previous stripes in the door area. Under the hood is a 375-horsepower Super Commando 440 V8 eight-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. For 1969, 701 GTX convertibles were produced, and it was also the last year the GTX was available as a convertible.
