This car marks the Starfire’s first year as a custom model, when it was only available as a convertible. It’s loaded with luxury and its stunning design turns heads even after more than 60 years. Under the hood is a 6.5-liter (394 cu in) Oldsmobile V8 engine mated to a Roto Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Thanks to the engine and carburetor, the Rochester produces 330 horsepower. It also features power steering and brakes, and its interior, with red leather seats, dashboard and steering wheel, far surpasses other contemporary models. That’s why this car is called one of the most beautiful of all time.
