One gorgeous car produced between 1954-1970. The Belvedere name was first used for the new hardtop body style in the Plymouth Cranbrook line in 1951, and later replaced the Cranbrook and became a stand-alone model in 1954. Under the hood of this car is a 301 cu in (4.9-liter) V8 engine, and shifting is handled by a three-speed TorqueFlite aic transmission. It was a big sales success in 1957, and its design was so revolutionary that Chrysler used the slogan “Suddenly, it’s 1960!” – “Suddenly, it’s 1960!”.
