This car belongs to the Mercedes-Benz W113 series together with the 230-SL and 250-SL models. All models were equipped with an inline six-cylinder engine with fuel injection. From the name alone, you’ll know that this beauty has a 2.8-litre engine – which is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. Its bonnet, door and boot covers were made of aluminium to reduce weight. A relatively short and wide chassis combined with excellent suspension and powerful brakes gave this car perfect handling for its time.
