The BMW 327 is a mid-size grand tourer built on a shortened version of the BMW 326 chassis. It was produced in 1937-1941 and 1945-1952 in Germany. The first 327 was launched in 1937 as a 2-door convertible. A year later, a 2-door coupe version was launched. The cars had rear-wheel drive and engine located in the front.

The 327 was powered by a 2-litre I6 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It had hydraulically operated brakes and a front suspension system that had been used in the previous 326 model. The top speed claimed was 125 km/h (125 mph).
