The Alfa Romeo Montreal is a 2+2 sports coupe produced in Italy from 1970 to 1977. The concept model was introduced in 1967 at Expo 67. The first production car was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1970 and was completely different from the original.
Stylistically, the most eye-catching feature is the front of the car, with four headlights that are partially covered by “grilles” that retract when the lights are switched on. Another stylistic element is the channel on the bonnet. The piping is actually blocked and its purpose is to visually hide the power bulge. The car’s engine is located in the front and drives the rear wheels. The car is powered by a 2.6-litre V8 engine with 197 hp (147 kW), which is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 km/h.
