The Audi Quattro was a sports coupe and rally car produced between 1980 and 1991. It was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The Quattro name is also used by Audi for its 4×4 cars and to avoid confusion this model was called the Ur-Quattro. The Audi Quattro was the first rally car to be introduced after the changes to motorsport that allowed the use of four-wheel drive, thus winning them all for the next two years. Originally powered by a 200 hp (147 kW) 2.1-litre I5 engine, the model was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 km/h (220 mph). Later, the volume was increased to 2.2-liters. A total of 1,452 examples were produced.
