2-door convertible, third generation of the 62 series. The new postwar Cadillacs arrived in style. The third generation was produced from 1948-1953 and was known for sporting tail fins inspired by fighter aircraft. Another distinguishing feature is the gold-plated logo both in the interior and exterior. Under the arched hood was a massive 331 cu in (5.4 L) OHV V8 engine. This was connected to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
