The Volkswagen SP2 is a sports car developed by Volkswagen do Brasil, produced in Brazil in 1972-1976. It was sold as a 2-door hatchback with rear-wheel drive and a rear-mounted engine. In 1973, it was named the world’s most beautiful Volkswagen by the German technology magazine Hobby.

The SP2 is based on the chassis of the Brazilian VW Type 3. It has a steel back chassis with floor panels attached and a steel body. In its day, it was the lowest car made in Brazil. The car was powered by an air-cooled 1.7-liter engine with 64 hp (48 kW), which was mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It could reach a speed of 161 km/h (161 mph) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 17.4 seconds. In total, just over 10,000 examples were produced.
