The Triumph TR 6 is a sports car produced in England in between 1968 and 1976. It was not officially introduced until 1969. It was sold as a 2-door convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. A total of 91 850 examples were produced of which more than 83,000 were exported to the United States.
The car was powered by a 2.5-litre I6 engine mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox, allowing it to reach speeds of 190 km/h (190 mph). At the beginning, the engine output reached 150 hp (110 kW), but decreased over time and . The TR 6 was offered in different colors each year so it is very easy to tell the model years by the color of the exterior and interior.
