The Chrysler Windsor is a rear-wheel drive automobile with a front-mounted engine produced from 1939 to 1966 with a break from 1942 to 1946. Production in the United States ceased in 1961 but continued in Canada until 1966. The Windsor was nearly identical to the more luxurious Chrysler New Yorker in terms of size, interior and standard features.

Variants produced in the years 1949-1952 were on 25. anniversary of Chrysler (1949) updated. They were sold as a 2-door convertible, coupe and hardtop and as a 4-door sedan and station wagon. They were powered by a 4.1-liter I6 engine that was mated to a 4-speed semi-automatic transmission.
