The Riley 12/4 is a range of mid-size cars produced in 1935-1938 in England. It was sold as a sedan, tourer and in a racing version with rear-wheel drive. The chassis had semi-elliptical leaf springs all round.

The car is powered by a 1.5-litre inline 4-cylinder engine with one or two carburettors, which was mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It was based on the Riley Nine engine with a few significant changes, including the cylinder block and crankcase being cast as one unit. This engine was later used in cars such as the Riley 12, Riley RMA and Riley One-Point-Five.
