The Rolls-Royce Corniche is a 2-door luxury car produced from 1971 to 1995 in five generations. It was sold as a coupe (1971-1980) and convertible (1971-1995) with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. Also, a Bentley version of the Corniche, which later became known as the Bentley Continental, was produced in 1984-1995.
The name of the car comes from an experimental prototype from 1939. It comes from the French and represents the coastal path, especially along the cliff face. The car was powered by a 6.75-litre V8 engine, the output of which varied over the generations. A total of 6823 examples were produced.
