The Ford Mustang Mach 1 was offered as an option on the Ford Mustang, combining performance and visuals. It was produced in 1969-1978, 2003-2004 and 2021-2023 in six series. It was available as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and engine located in the front.
The first generation Mach 1 (facelift) was produced in from 1971 to 1973. It was available with 4.9-litre, 5.8-litre and 7-litre (375 hp, 280 kW) V8 engines, which were mated to a 3 or 4-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission.
